OUR HISTORY

Having already been in the Student Travel Industry for 10 years, John DeCrotie started GTC in 2004 to provide affordable and custom trips for youth groups across the country.  When the business took off, in 2005, John brought in Laurie and another tour consultant to keep up. Providing low-cost, high-quality trips and service helped to continue our growth so within the next few years, GTC grew to a staff of folks who genuinely cared about each traveler's experience.

OVER THE YEARS...SAFETY AND AFFORDABILITY

Although the number of GTC staff has grown throughout the years, we remain a family-owned and operated business with the same "Old School" concept of service, relationship building and treating others as we want to be treated.

A large number of our traveling groups are Title 1 schools that merely want to share the amazing opportunity to travel with their students that they may not otherwise have. It is for this sole reason that we do everything possible to find safe and affordable travel options for your students.

Our clients are not just business to us, they are our great people trying to provide amazing, escorted, safe travel experiences for their students. The business continues to cater to both beginner and experienced group leaders who have worked with other tour companies and may have felt like 'just another number' or those who have planned trips themselves only to find out our packages offer more for less money. We do not advertise much because our best promotions come from those who have traveled with us.
