Having been in the Student Travel Industry for 10 years, John DeCrotie started GTC in 2004 to provide affordable and custom trips for youth groups across the country. When the business took off, in 2005, John brought in Laurie and another tour consultant to keep up. Providing low-cost, high-quality trips and service helped to continue our growth so within the next few years, GTC grew to a staff of folks who genuinely cared about each traveler’s experience.
The business continues to cater to both beginner and experienced group leaders who have worked with other tour companies and may have felt like ‘just another number’ or those who have planned trips themselves only to find out our packages offer more for less money. We do not advertise much because our best promotions come from those who have traveled with us.
